I am not not sure if it does or made that way. Plate is nice to look at. – Cottage scene is nice to view as well.I took a magnifying glass and looked over the cottage pattern in the middleI am seeing light what I would guess knife marks that appear to me to be light within the glazingI am not seeing them going to the cottage pattern itself.You have to hold them to the light and/or under magnifying glass to see them.Even with the dish 6 inches from the face not noticeableDoes have very faint crazing or crazing cracks in the center of the plate pattern area most likely related to the manufacturing processYou have to look fairly hard to see them or at least I do.Wear if any in my view I would class from very light to light. Back side does not even show much wear on the bottom raised wear ring of the plate. Made in the USA This may be a not so common piece? I am saying that as I am not finding a one with this pattern for saleas of my listing this item.??? Notice Double Stamping or Smudged Stamping of name on the back. I know very little about grading most glassware so see pictures for condition I had the in a china cabinet for decades as it accented other items in the dame cabinetNow I have just redone it and selling this for someone else to enjoy.
