Like all Casio membrane-keypad’ed watches of the ’70/80’s era, they suffered one flaw.The decal layer of the keypad fades and cracks and becomes unreadable. As an owner and designer I decided to re-author the artwork to match the font style and colours of the original decal, then, have laser printed on professional polyester backing, then over-laminated with an additional matt/textured polyester layer to create a Scratch Resistant graphic, self adhesive, long lasting solution to the problem. This textured laminate makes a slightly thicker/stiffer finished decal, which is better for concealing a surface that is particularly cracked or bumpy. These are a new design with improved graphic resolution and colours. You will receive: ONE new self-adhesive decal, surplus adhesive polyester to prime surface, Instruction sheet. If you have problems or questions, message me through Ebay. You will need to carefully trim the decal, using sharp scissors or steel ruler and scalpel on MDF. Take your time and put your glasses on if necessary! This will not fix non-functional keys. This premium decal brings back the original look and value of the DBC-60 Database Calculator watch. Take a look at the before and after close-up photos attached. Place the new decal over the old faded one. No need to remove old decal. Following supplied instructions. Do not remove the layer with grey pads, below the old decal, this makes the contact when pressed. Remove this layer and the keys will not work. These replacement self adhesive long lasting polyester, laser printed decals replace the worn, cracked, faded or gone keypad decals of the vintage Casio membrane keypads. Watches are not included, they are for illustrative purposes only. This is not hard, peel the backing away only once you are happy that you have prepared the surface. New decal will not fix non-functioning keys!!!! Use alcohol or methylated spirit to clean the surface before fixing new decal, to ensure good adhesion.I include extra adhesive polyester as either blank area or additional decal in order to prime the surface to ensure good adhesion of final decal.Simply use the additional adhesive label to press on and remove from the keypad surface, do this several times to remove any contamination after cleaning the keypad as mentioned. This will make a much more permanent fixing. Bring that vintage calculator watch back into circulation with a bright fresh decal, either to use again or to tidy up for selling. Please check that your watch model is one of the above mentioned as there are different model decals.Please note that this is a decal and will not repair functionality of damaged keys.
