This Ultimate Soldier plane features a WW-II P-51D Mustang Fighter LOU IV with two drop fuel tanks and functional landing gear front and back. The fighter also includes an articulate fighter pilot character and is made of plastic in a 1:18 scale. This item is an original and licensed production from 21st Century Toys and is part of the Ultimate Soldier XD collection. (Extreme Detail) The item is multicolored and does have a few minor scars in the paint here and there. This fighter airplane is a great addition to any collection and is perfect for display. Can be displayed in landing configuration or with the gear up in flight mode. **** The fighter pilot has had his lower left leg piece glued back on (at the knee). He does still stand just fine, and his legs bend at the waist to allow entry into the plane. His legs MUST be straight anyway to get him into the cockpit. **** The main passenger side landing gear has broken off from its anchor (rotating) point. The gear strut is whole and not missing any parts. It can be set back in place and will hold the plane up. Care must be taken, but it can be done. The gear will lay flat once you manually remove the spring arm tension. All gear doors are present and close nicely. **** see the last two pics *** o Opening and closing canopy o Pilot figure is removable and articulate o Detailed cockpit with yoke & other controls o 4 bladed Propeller spins freely o All three landing gear secure up o All three landing gear tires roll nicely o Both Fuel drop tanks are removable o Both primary wings are removable o Both rear tail fins are removable Plane is Large at 22″ long tailfin to prop and 24″ wide from wing tip to wing tip fully assembled. It’s also heavy. The plane displays nicely with gear up or down. ***A very small piece of double sided stick tape has held the gear strut in place for me very well*** **** Original Factory Box and all of its inner plastic parts is included for FREE …. HOWEVER …. it is in Rough shape and has tape sections holding it together. This will ensure that the propeller arrives in great shape. **** AGAIN, IT’S FREE **** This item is being Sold As Is.
