eBay This listing is for a single, beautiful, artisan-crafted southwestern style side chair by A. Lopez. I am not familiar with the artisan’s first name, but she appears to have made a lot of southwest style furniture, mostly in the early-1980s through the late 1990s. At the time of listing, I have four (4) of these matching chairs. Each bears a leather label attached to the bottom of the leather seat that reads, “A. Lopez 81.” This chair is made of a wood frame, finished in a walnut stain with satin finish. The seat and seat back are ivory color, buttery soft leather pieces nailed to the wood frame with tiny brass nails. The edges each bear delicate, intentional darker staining to add to the realism of the leather pieces. The chair design is so beautiful, with a lovely ornate top crest and spindle front legs. This is a lovely piece and would look fantastic in almost any setting (but especially one with a southwest or medieval theme) across a wide range of time periods.
