The B&W PX7 S2e headphones sport a slightly updated design — with new color and finish options — along with a newly refined sound tuning that promises more musical nuance and stronger dynamics. The streamlined B&W PX7 S2e headphones are made of sturdy, high-quality parts. I gave the previous-generation PX7 S2 high marks for their clarity and charming midrange presence, where the vocals seemed to leap from the mix. B&W says they’ve preserved those sonic characteristics and focused on minimizing distortion across all frequencies. They still use the same shrewdly angled drivers for detailed highs along with omnipresent yet well-restrained bass. Among the best noise cancellation available B&W carefully positioned the built-in mics and uses their latest noise-canceling circuitry.
