You are bidding on one iron or blade or cutter for a wood bodied spokeshave as pictured.It is not marked. Length of the sharp edge is about 3-1/2″, larger than many of these. Width of the blade at the sharp edge is about 1/2″. Overall length of the blade, measured along the base, is about 4-13/16″. And the distance from the outside of one tapered peg to the outside of the other tapered peg is also about 4-13/16″. Condition is fair, with some scattered pitting on the bottom surface of the blade, and some light rust on the upper surface of the sharp edge as well as over much of the blade. SHIPPING: Under 1 pound, shipped in a padded envelope, shipped US Postal Service Ground Advantage, insurance is included. The Post Office now has several prices increases during each year, raising a few things but not everything at each increase. And they now raise their rates during the Holidays, which means early October to late January. Their big increases are in January, timed to start at the end of the Holiday rates, and this year is no exception. And it’s not just the postage rates, the insurance charges and the delivery signature charges have also gone up. There is now a surcharge for Priority Mail packages over 20″ long, and another for Priority Mail packages over 30″ long, because those longer packages won’t fit in their automatic machines. And the Post Office has discontinued the Regional Flat Rate boxes, which were often less expensive for certain sizes and weights. I try to pick the best shipping option for each listing, based both on what is the least expensive and on what I think is needed to protect the item. If the value is $250 or over, eBay requires your signature at delivery for the buyer and seller protections to be in effect.SALES TAX: Interstate sales tax is now the reality on all the major selling websites including eBay. If I ship to a state where eBay is required to collect sales tax, eBay will charge you the sales tax for your location.
