You will NOT RECEIVE the machine or plastic chute ONLY the bag. Then they sent the bag back to me???????????? Now another person thinks they are getting the machine and is asking to return the bag. That is 2 people now in 4 weeks ??????????? Now another person thinks they are getting the machine and the bag on 4-8-19 shipping it back to me on 4-12-19. I have noticed some blue marks on the mesh material I think is from the black thread I used on the inside of the bags. I have included pictures of the BLUE marks so you can see what I am seeing. I believe it is from the thread lubricant on the thread. It will not effect how the bag works. After the first time you use it will get dirty real fast anyway. If it bothers you tell me and I will look to see if I can find one with out the marks. My guess is it will show up on all of them after time in this batch. The marks are getting more & more visible as time goes by. They are longer and darker now as of 12-18-2018. I have also now seen a few red dots that have shown up in a few spots along the seams from the red marker that marked the spots for sewing the bags together.(See pictures of inside the bag picture and picture of outside of the bag showing where they are coming from.)Hard to see unless you look for them. I guess I will have to find another way to mark the material or I will cut a V at the red dot spot in the future batches I make. 12-7-2019I have found another way to mark the fabric so these marks should be gone after a few more sell. I am making a test run of 15 bag to see if they sell. If they do not sell very well. I will not make any more of this bag. When these are sold out they are gone. They sold out so I am making more bags for this year 2018 & 2019. I have now made a total of 92 for sale in 2018 & 75 more in 2019.Yup I am sick of making them now I MADE THIS BAG 1 INCH WIDER THAN THE ORIGINAL BAG. I have also enlarged the straps slightly and beefed up the straps end by melting the webbing so it can not fray out causing the hanger straps to fail. The part numbers of the two bag I used as a pattern is 1768526 and 1763572. I did add some extra material to bottom sides of the original pattern to improve the fit on the machine. These are made from COMMERCIAL GRADE MATERIAL. My bags are made from a mix of blues and gray colors COMMERCIAL FABRIC using all new materials with a MUCH LARGER nylon zipper with 2 METAL zipper pulls that allow you to close and open the zipper anyplace on the bag. The picture of the Troy Bilt chipper vac is NOT for sale or included The CHIPPER VAC in the picture is ONLY TO SHOW THE FIT AND MACHINE TYPE IT FITS The plastic chutes are NOT included with the bag. You will ONLY GET THE NEW BAG with a new zip tie. The plastic chutes show what type of plastic chute fits into this bag. I will include a new zip tie for you to install your plastic chute in this bag. Now more of a hobby. You may have seen or bought the black bags from me in the past. Every one of these heavy duty bags is cut by me and the sewing is done by me I also fit test every bag . So you may find a leaf or 2 in your new bag. Now you will know why. If you see something I can improve on let me know. The fabric is so strong you can make a cut in the fabric then just try to tear it. Good luck.. The bag is a little wider than the original bag so it will fill up more. This fabric is more breathable than the original bag allowing more breathability filling the bag fuller. If you look at my pictures you can see in the last picture you will see through the gray mesh fabric. Now you can see when it is full. The fabric I buy is commercial grade polyester coated mesh fabric The fabric is seconds so there is some minor defects that will not effect its performance in any way. It saves about $10.00 on the cost of a bag. If you feel you need one with out any defects send me a question and I will try to find one with out the defects for you. Fred, I can’t believe the quality of the bag, and also how much more effective it makes the vacuum. The zipper is exponentially better than the original, the full bag is MUCH easier to dump, and the increased ventilation makes the vacuuming uptake at least 25% better than before. Since the machine is close to 30 years old, I questioned paying $200 for a new bag, but I’m certainly glad I did. I’ve taken good care of the machine, and it runs as well as ever, and at my age, with the new bag, it will probably outlast me! Your product is far superior to the OEM Bag that was with the Sears Chipper/VAC, and the replacement I purchased about 15 years after the original, which I have now owned for over 30 years, still runs like a top! I am EBAY buyer H1457. Here you go: I have the Sears 987.799791 – 5 HP Chipper/VAC, which the bag is no longer available, UNTIL NOW! This replacement bag made by Fred McGuire is far superior in quality, design and fit than the original that came with the product, or the replacement that was offered for a short time by Sears that was too small and didn’t even fit properly, it kept shutting the motor down with the kill bar coming out when anything was in the bag because of the original design. This is NOT a problem with this bag. This product, by McGuire is far better than any of the originals or OEM replacements. . This collection bag will allow me to keep my Chipper/VAC for years to come, easier to clean and empty, and actually allows the VAC to work properly because it allows much more air to pass through it and does not clog up the exhaust air because of the new design. I would estimate a 50% increase in suction with this bag on, plus loads the bag properly using the additional air flow this bag offers. The zipper, handles and hanging support straps are designed much better and much easier to get on and off the machine. GREAT job creating this replacement bag, it has fixed every flaw and/or problem with the OEM parts. As you can tell, I am very pleased with this product and this bag is well worth the money.
